Ever since she was a child, Sasha dreamed of the supposed monster of the lake. The night before her arranged marriage, she runs to the water hoping for escape. What she finds instead is the truth and a new reason to live.
Time after time, folk stories centered around women in lakes end in misery, the same goes for many stories centered around lesbians. This is a love letter to those stories, that maybe just once - they might end with a happily ever after instead.

At the beginning it didn't seem like I would like it much (there's quick explanation of the setting to get you quickly into fucking, haha).
But after a few pages I felt like I finally found the gem I was looking for 🥺
I love the monstrous way Rusalka was described >:3
As a person who devoted their youth to old English horror books, I greatly appreciated that.
